Democratizing the creative potential of making AI available to all people from all walks of life opens up multiple opportunities for innovation in content creation and storytelling. At the same time, it poses challenges in terms of trust and security. We have seen numerous cases of fake news, misinformation and fraud amplified by AI-driven content. This summer, a comprehensive set of specifications will be released that will revolutionize the entire image processing ecosystem. It will enable the authenticity, provenance and ownership of image content to be reliably and securely tracked.
