Martin von Muralt

Delegate of the Swiss Security Network SSN
Martin von Muralt was appointed Delegate by the Confederation and the cantons in may 2022. He is responsible for managing the affairs of the political platform, the operational platform and the working groups and has extensive experience in various areas relevant to cooperation in security policy, including police and criminal justice, at federal and cantonal level.

Prof. Dr. Touradj Ebrahimi

Prof. Dr. Ebrahimi teaches and researches in the field of multimedia signal processing and has chaired the JPEG nomination committee since 2014, which has developed a series of standards that have revolutionized the world of image processing. He represents Switzerland as head of delegation at JTC1, which is responsible for the information technology ISO and IEC. He also advises the European Commission and other governmental funding bodies in Europe as an expert. Ebrahimi is the founder of several start-ups and spin-off companies, including the most recent RayShaper SA, a research start-up focused on AI-powered multimedia.

Damir Bogdan
CEO QuantumBasel
Damir Bogdan heads the QuantumBasel, the Competence Center for quantum computing and artificial intelligence. He operates both in Switzerland and in Silicon Valley, guiding C-level executives into the new future. Additionally, he is a member of several boards of directors in the insurance, industrial, and high-tech sectors, both domestically and internationally. The trained business informatics specialist holds certificates in "Disruptive Strategies" from Harvard and "AI Implications on Business Models" from MIT, among others. He is also an alumnus of the Singularity University in Silicon Valley.

Elisa Torres
Founder & CEO at Girls in Quantum
The young Elisa Torres from Chile is co-founder and CEO of Girls in Quantum, an international initiative that aims to inspire women and girls from all over the world to enter the field of quantum computing. Elisa Torres was also selected as a finalist for the Global Student Prize 2023.

Dr. Jean-Marc Rickli
Head of Global and Emerging Risks
Geneva Center for Security Policy GCSP
Rickli heads the Global and Emerging Risks Department at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy in Geneva. He is also co-chair of the NATO Partnership for Peace Consortium's (PFPC) Emerging Security Challenges Working Group and lead advisor for the Future Society's AI initiative. Rickli also represents the GCSP at the United Nations, advises Gulf State Analytics in Washington and is a non-resident fellow at TRENDS Research and Advisory in Abu Dhabi.

David Marti

David Marti heads the AI programme at the European think tank Pour Demain. In dialogue with science, politics, civil society and industry, his team develops recommendations on AI at a national and international level. David previously worked in the field of renewable energy.

Dr. Marc Ph. Stoecklin

Marc Ph. Stoecklin is a Principal Research Scientist and Head of Security Research at IBM Research Europe in Zurich, Switzerland. He leads IBM’s research strategy on Quantum-safe Cryptography and Migration, with a particular focus on methodologies and technologies to transform complex IT environments and applications to become resilient to the threats to cryptography in the quantum era. Marc has a proven track record in many cybersecurity domains, incl. use and threats of ML/AI, automation for threat management, and identity and access management. He holds a PhD degree in Computer, Communication, and Information sciences from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland.
