Markus Soland

Markus Soland has represented Switzerland on the international standards committee ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 since 1998 and has actively helped shape the ISO/IEC 27000 series of standards. He heads the corresponding standards committee at SNV. The ETH Zurich computer engineer, who also has further training in communication networks (EPFL), worked for many years at a major bank in various roles in the field of cyber and information security. His current professional focus is on the new challenges posed by the convergence of IT and OT.
