Thomas Süssli

Corps Commander Thomas Süssli is responsible for the leadership of the Swiss Armed Forces. He heads the Department of Defense and thus reports directly to the head of the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), Federal Councillor Viola Amherd. The Armed Forces Staff, the Operations Command, the Cyber Command, the Logistics Base and the Training Command report to the Chief of the Armed Forces.
