This presentation provides a clear overview of the EU AI law, its relevance for Swiss companies and practical steps to comply with the regulations. Switzerland's particular approach to AI regulation and its differences to other approaches will be analysed. Finally, it analyses how this regulatory framework affects cybersecurity and what compliance measures are required for Swiss companies.

Martina Arioli is a partner at Arioli Law, a boutique law firm specializing in technology and data law. She combines extensive expertise in contractual matters for outsourcing and IT projects with practical experience from international projects as an in-house counsel. She studied law, philosophy, and political science at the University of Bern and the London School of Economics and is admitted to the bar in the Canton of Bern. Martina lectures at the University of Zurich and ZHAW and serves on the advisory board for the CAS Data Protection program at the Europa Institute.
