Dr Renius Arsenescu is responsible for standardization activities at the Swiss Federal Office of Communications (CH-OFCOM) and coordinates the collaboration between the Office the and the three European Standardization Organisations (ETSI, CEN and CENELEC). Before joining CH-OFCOM, he worked for nine years in nuclear research and for eighteen further years he accompanied several strategic telecommunication projects with major manufacturers, network operators and transmission system operators.

Markus Soland has represented Switzerland on the international standards committee ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27 since 1998 and has actively helped shape the ISO/IEC 27000 series of standards.
