Christian Heimann has been an e-ID specialist at the Federal Office of Police (fedpol) since the relaunch of e-ID in 2021. He is involved in the technical implementation of e-ID and other issues related to the trust infrastructure. Heimann holds an MAS in Digital Business from HWZ and previously worked in the private sector.

André Kunz

Open Source Manager in the e-ID Department

André Kunz is responsible for open source e-ID at the Federal Office of Justice. He publishes the source code for the trust infrastructure, manages the documentation and maintains relations with the open source community. Previously, he was head of technical solutions at Nine, programme manager for digital strategy for the city of Bern and co-founder of the open source solution ‘Hitobito’.
