However, the rapid advancement of technology also poses potential dangers, such as privacy breaches, job displacement, and ethical dilemmas. How should we as a society deal with these new challenges?

Nicolas Mayencourt is the founder and Global CEO of Dreamlab Technologies, a Swiss IT security company that has been hacking the computer systems of companies, states and authorities for over 25 years - legally and at their request - in order to subsequently develop suitable security concepts and solutions. As programme director of the Swiss Cyber Security Days, Mayencourt is also responsible for putting together the two-day programme.

As a futurologist, she has been analysing trends and counter-trends in business, society and consumption for over three decades. She researches the future and also looks into the past. She knows why new technologies are both fascinating and unsettling, and how AI, robots and the like could change the world of work and society.

Bruno Giussani is a writer, curator of ideas and podcaster. Until 2024, he was the global curator and European director of TED for almost 20 years. He focuses on technology, geopolitics, economics and climate and advises the Swiss Center for Augmented Intelligence (SCAI) and other organisations. During his time at TED, he curated over a thousand TEDtalks and interviewed leading personalities. Previously, he was a columnist for the New York Times and other media, head of online strategy at the World Economic Forum and a lecturer at EPFL. Giussani lives in Switzerland.
