Dr. Paolo Benanti is a member of the Third Order Regular of Saint Francis and direct advisor to Pope Francis on all technological matters. With a PhD in moral theology and an expert on AI and blockchain, he takes us on a journey into our unique human nature.

Dr. Paolo Benanti
Dr Benanti is an Italian priest, theologian, scientist and lecturer. He is a member of the Third Order Regular of St Francis and teaches at the Pontifical Gregorian University. As an advisor to the Pope, he specialises in ethics, bioethics and technology ethics. His studies include innovation management, internet, biotechnology, biosecurity, neuroscience and neurotechnology. He holds a doctorate in moral theology and was honoured for his dissertation. He is also a member of the expert group for national strategies on AI and blockchain.
