As places of value creation and innovation, SMEs form the backbone of the Swiss economy. This also makes them attractive targets for cyber criminals, and the increasing amount of damage every year is sad testimony to this. Despite this, many SMEs do not see themselves as targets of cyberattacks or do not understand the extent of the damage. One thing is clear: as the world's most innovative economy, Switzerland needs to better protect its diverse and dynamic business landscape.
